So sorry to have been absent for a bit, friends. March just kind of snuck up on us and before we knew it, we were on our way to WPPI, *the* annual convention for wedding and portrait photographers in Las Vegas. (Cue the Elvis music here) Leading up to the convention we knew there would be much to do and see, but we had NO idea. The next few blog posts will be about WPPI and our experiences there. After three days at the convention, we returned inspired, invigorated and excited to take Mai Tai Photography to another level! Not only did we take classes and meet some new friends, but we participated in some cool shooting workshops, as well. Photos from those sessions are forthcoming.
Meanwhile, I’ll share a few photos from our pit stop on the road to Las Vegas, at Calico ghost town. It’s definitely worthy of a stop if you’re driving on I-15 from San Diego.

As I said, I’ll blog more about our Las Vegas adventure, including a sweetheart of a photo session on the Strip and another photoshoot involving a classic Corvette in “old” Vegas. Until then, thanks for stopping by!
