The day after

Author: Elvee

Happy Day after Thanksgiving!  Didn’t expect to be blogging so soon after the holiday, but I wanted to share some photos from the family gathering.  After a pre-Thanksgiving at my mom’s on Wednesday, we were at my mother-in-law’s for Thanksgiving day.  4 dogs, 5 kids and I lost track of how many adults were at her home for food and fun!  As usual we had way too much food, all of it delicious!  Then today was relaxing as we avoided Black Friday lines.  Instead, Dustin decorated the outside of our house, and then later we met two of my elementary school friends for coffee. No holiday shopping madness for us!  We took advantage of the relaxing day, as this weekend will be filled with another couple of photo sessions!

As we head into the last month of the year, we are already making plans for 2010!  Brides, if you are looking for a photographer for your 2010 wedding, send us an email about a possible no-cost mini engagement photo session!  These no-cost sessions are very limited, so contact us soon!  We’d love to meet you, so send us an email, and feel free to pass this on to other brides.  (Just to clarify, please only contact us if you have not yet booked a photography vendor. :) )

Until later, friends! See you back here soon.

Here’s one of the tables set up for dinner. So pretty under the archway!

One of Dustin’s cousins brought her 3 month old Weimaraner puppy to the party, and she was just the cutest little thing. Everyone, and I mean everyone loved her.

This is Taffy, another one of the canine guests!

A few more details from the day, including my sister-in-law’s awesome green heels!

And finally, my absolute favorite image from the whole day.  This is Grandma Jo with my sister-in-law, Dana.  Love.

Long weekend

Happy Thanksgiving, friends!  May it be safe and joyous.  We’ll be hard at work with more photo sessions this weekend, and you may see a new blog post before Monday.  Lots to post!

Thanks for reading, and we hope you have a restful holiday!

Just a little outtake

Author: Elvee

I can’t help it, had to post just a little sneak peek of our last session from this weekend.  For my next post I’ll probably start with this session and then work backwards. Wait til you see what these munchkins’ mom and dad were willing to do for the sake of a holiday card. :)

In the meantime, here’s an outtake from the highly entertaining session with the Benitez bunch.  We’ve got one looking at me with a ‘just take my picture already!’ smile  and the other more interested in a twig and someone off-camera.  Despite that they’re still so cute that I want to pinch the heck out of their little cheeks! More to come…
